Mary L. Hoover

Mary L. Chamberlain Hoover, loving mother and partner, and long-time resident of Meadowlands, died April 7, 2023. She was born in Altoona, on April 19, 1944, the daughter of the late John and Alma Wilt Chamberlain. Mary attended Hollidaysburg High School and worked in sales. She attended IC Catholic Church. Her hobbies included calligraphy, photography, and crafting. Her partner of over 23 years, Merle Frank, died November 30, 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Anne Hoover, of Lake Balboa, CA; siblings, Art (Mary) Chamberlain, Sue (Paul) Singer, Philip (Barbara) Chamberlain, Josephine Neugbauer and Barbara Samuelson. In addition to her parents and partner, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, John Chamberlain, Jr., Mike Chamberlain, and Thomas Chamberlain; and sisters, Ann Rosech, Linda Wertz, and Constance Woolridge. There will be no visitation or service.
