Martha Jeanne Flack Patton Snyder Miller, of Claysville passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born October 10, 1930 in Phildelphia, PA, a daughter of Herbert Flack and Ruth Elsie (Haffeley) Flack Patton of Pittsburgh. Martha was a member of the Singing Teamsters of Pittsburgh, and a 1947 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School. Martha loved animals, especially Basset Hounds. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a member of the Roadside Chapel, and blessed many with her singing and piano playing over the years. She also worked at the Windmill and Arco Truck stop for over 20 years. On July 9, 1948, she married Robert Halt Snyder at Lincoln Place Presbyterian Church. They were married for 43 years before his passing on October 11, 1991. Together they had eight children, five sons, Glenn R. (Diane) Snyder, Kevin P. (Rebecca) Snyder, Gary E. (Debbie) Snyder, Robert L. (Maria) Snyder and David M. (Mary) Snyder and 3 daughters, Sharon Coulson, Roberta (Mike) Parson, and Lynley (Doug) Hartzell. She had 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In January 1992, she married Homer Miller who passed on September 17, 2015. In addition to her parents, Ruth Flack Patton and Herbert Flack, and her husbands, Robert Snyder and Homer Miller, Martha was preceded in death by her stepfather, Paul Patton and her daughter, Roberta Parson. Friends will be received on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the time of service, in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA 15301, with Rev. Paul Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in West Finley Cemetery.
