Mark Donald Ward, III, 64, of Canonsburg, died on Monday, December 10, 2018, in his home. He was born on January 29, 1954, in Canonsburg, a son of the late Geraldine Skowirski Ward-Statler. Mr. Ward was a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School. An iron worker, Mark was a member of Iron Worker’s Union Local #3. He loved anything baseball, including fantasy baseball, but what he loved more than anything, was his family. His family was the center of his world, and represented all that was important to him. On August 15, 1987, he married the love of his life, Patricia Dee Harriman, whom he lovingly referred to as “Trish.” Surviving, in addition to his beloved wife, are two sons, Mark D. Ward, IV and Andrew (Valerie) Chappo; a daughter, April Cummins-Thompson; three grandchildren, Tyler Filby, Tessa Cummins and Cassie Chappo; two sisters, Marsha (Fred) Tonti and Melanie Holtz; an aunt, Tessie Radosy; several nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and his wonderful dog, Abbey. A Celebration of Life will be held at White Eagles, 303 Adams Ave., Canonsburg, PA, at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018.
