Marjorie Marie Curry, 86, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 30, 2018, at Hawthorne Woods Assisted Living, Washington. Marge was born January 14, 1932, to William B. Jennings and Alma Cotter Jennings. She grew up and was educated in Lost Creek, West Virginia. On September 16, 1950, she married Luther R. Curry, Jr., who died December 10, 2005. Surviving are a son, Ralph Lynn (Mimi) Curry of West Chester; and a daughter, Rebecca Ruth (Richard) Deems of Washington. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Mike Curry, Patrick Curry, Jennifer Curry, Justin (Meg) Curry, Danny Deems and Katie Deems. She was introduced to her only great-grandchild, Layla Deems, in December 2018. Mrs. Curry was known for her love of dancing, especially boogy-woogy, square and polka. In addition, she enjoyed camping and crafts. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. She will be cremated and her ashes spread on the 6 acre Curry Farm in Lost Creek, West Virginia, alongside of her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
