Marian Elizabeth Sensky, age 84, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021, at her home. Marian was born May 21, 1937, in Washington. She grew up with her brother, Carman, and lived her entire life in Washington. After graduating from Trinity High School in 1955, Marian worked for Brockway and retired 27 years later. She then worked for 8 years at Trinity High School. Marian loved the beach and enjoyed traveling there with her mother. She was also an enthusiastic fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and tried to never miss watching a game. Of course, her favorite player was Hines Ward, of whom she had a signed jersey. Marian was also an avid reader. Recently, she enjoyed listening to Pete on 95.3 FM and discovered her new favorite song, “Come on Eileen”. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch and Edith Wasseloff Sensky; her brother, Carman and his wife Wilma Jean Teegarden Sensky; and nephew, Ronald Gene Sensky. Surviving are nephews Carman Sensky and wife Becky, Scott Sensky and wife Laura; niece Marla Sensky Wilkerson and (Michael); cousins, David Sensky, Vernie Capullo, Denise Allison, and Minnie Voorhes; several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Family and friends will be received Monday, June 7, 2021, from 10:00 -11:00 a.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes. Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Interment immediately following at Washington Cemetery.
