Margie Ellen Wilson Leasure, 86, of Washington, died April 21, 2021, at Southmont Presbyterian Seniorcare. She was born August 21, 1934, in Washington (Log Pile), the daughter of the late Russell Perry and Gail Anderson Wilson. She worked in the cafeteria at Trinity Middle School for several years and at Isaly’s. Margie was a member of the Washington Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Lagonda Homemakers Club, and Women’s Missionary Society. She was a devoted Christian woman. She loved to crochet and make dried flower arrangements. She has entered them framed in the Washington County and West Alexander Fairs. On June 15, 1956, Margie married George Kenneth Leasure, who survives. Also surviving are sons, George David (Rosemarie) Leasure, of Washington, and Kenneth Gene (Darlene) Leasure, of Prosperity; sister, Betty Caldwell, of Washington; grandchildren, Nicole Marie (Dan) Bull, David Anthony (Amanda) Leasure, John Charles (Courtney) Leasure, Lizi Marie (Matt) Miller; 8 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Margie was preceded in death by sisters, Mae Jones, Wilma Gillispie, Virginia Pinkerton; and a brother who died as a toddler. Margie loved spending time with friends and family. Memorial contributions may be made in Margie’s name to Washington Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 246 Sanitarium Road East, Washington, PA 15301. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. A service of Christian burial is scheduled for Monday, April 26, 2021, at 11 am with Pastor Brian Greenleaf officiating. All Covid-19 precautions apply. Interment will be in the Washington Cemetery.
