Margaret Isabel White

Margaret “Peg” Isabel White, 92, of Washington, passed away the morning of October 13, 2022, among family. Peg was born in 1930 to Walter and Mildred Whiteman. She worked at Brockway Glass where she met the love of her life. She was married to James E. White for 40 years while they raised their four, strong willed children. She also worked at Imperial Cleaners for over 20 years, alongside her daughters, Kim, and Rachel. Peg was known for her love of music and dancing anytime she could. She was a constant for her family, loved unconditionally and without question. Peg always had her door open to the neighborhood with spaghetti and chocolate fudge at the ready. She may have been the quiet one most days, but never let a good time pass her by. On August 8, 1957, Peg married James E. White, who passed May 17, 1997. Peg is survived by her children, Shelby Harvey (Robert), of Washington, James E. White, Jr., of Graysville, Kimberly Harvey (Jeff), of East Finley, and Rachel Boone (Joe), of Washington; a sister, Dolores Stetson; grandchildren, James Kosey (Raelene), Jamie Rose Ankrom (Larry), Nick White (Heather), Sara Rocus (Rusty), J.D. Boone, Tricia Harvey, Jessica Harvey, and Sydnee White; great-grandchildren, Mason White, Kloee Ankrom, Brenden Kosey, A.J. Kosey, Autumn Kosey, Liam White, Gunnar White, Arrow White, and Emilia Rocus; great-great-granddaughter, Ayla Miller; and many nieces and nephews. Peg was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Jarosik, Helen Amos, and William “Bill” Whiteman. At the request of the deceased, all services are private.
