Margaret Ann Grudi

Margaret Ann Barlow Grudi, 81, of Hobe Sound, Florida, formerly of Washington, died July 18, 2017, in her home.   She was born June 18, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Richard Barlow, Sr., and Minnie Naylor Barlow of Sheffield, England.   On November 23, 1963, she married Robert Andrew “Shorty” Grudi, who died October 2, 2011.   They had four children, Terry Grudi of Phillipi, West Virginia, Beth A. Grudi of Bel Air, Maryland, Bob Grudi, Jr., of Pittsburgh, and the youngest child, Steve “Gip” Grudi, who died in 2014.   In addition, surviving are a sister-in-law, Nancy Borres of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, April Grudi (Dave Lampert), Kim Mavronicles (Chris), Dakota James Davison (Pauline), Amber Good (Andrew), Michael R. Grudi (Megan), Madison Grudi and Morgan Grudi; great-grandchildren, Ali Maracno, Josie Lampert, Luke Moran, London Mavronicles, Chase Mavronicles, Mary Ann Davison, Lucia Roxanne “Lulu” Davison and Raylan J. Grudi; and many beloved nieces and nephews.   Deceased are all of her siblings, Doris B. Camp (Larry), Jim Barlow (Peg), and Dick Barlow, Jr. (Shirley).   Her beloved poodle, “Pumpkin,” also survives.   Mrs. Grudi had many hobbies, including gardening, crafting, watching her family in sporting events, and coaching cheerleading for the Brownson House, Logpile, and Lagonda Teams.   She loved going to the Meadows Racetrack, not just to watch the horses, but to play the slots.  Her favorite memories were of Cape May, New Jersey.   Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 24th.  Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
