M. Eileen Richardson

Mary Eileen Richardson passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in The Washington Hospital at the age of 90. She was born May 17, 1931, a daughter of the late John William and Katherine B. Flinn. Eileen graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and was a life-long Washington resident. In 1949, in St. Hilary Church, she married William R. Richardson, who survives. Eileen enjoyed decorative painting, baking, crocheting and other crafts, and playing bingo and slots. She also enjoyed her grand-dogs, watching Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games, and bird watching, especially the bald eagle nests in the area. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Bill, are two daughters, Eileen Churchel and her husband, Richard, Barbara McCullough and her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Nathan Churchel and his wife, Connie, Melissa Churchel and her fiancé, Jeremy Slodowick, Emily Toohey and her husband, Sean; three great-grandchildren, William Toohey, Dejanira Okorn, and Giovonni Bartolotto; a great-great grandson, Zayden Harmon; three nieces; and three nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are six sisters and one brother, Catherine Cox, Dolores Kline, John E. Flinn, Anna Mae McCrerey, Marcella Gamber, Margaret Flinn, and Rita Eimer.
