Louis Robert Phillips

Louis Robert Phillips Sr., 58 of Washington, died Saturday, November 25, 2017 with his mother by his side. He was born September 1, 1959 in Washington, the son of Mary Louise Beatty Hanlon of Claysville and the late Daniel Franklin Phillips Sr. Louis attend Avella High School and worked for Randall’s plumbing for numerous years. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Louis enjoyed fishing, yard sales, flea markets and was a big bargain hunter. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are a son, Louis Robert Phillips of Washington; a daughter, Heather Lynn Melgar of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Daniel F. Phillips Jr. of Washington; a sister, Tonya R. Arbogast of Washington; three half-brothers, Timothy and Jack Phillips both of Washington, Kent Phillips of Carmichaels; two half-sisters, Sandy Lesko of Virginia and Ginger Phillips of Washington; seven grandchildren, Devon, Gage, Aiden and Grace Phillips, Samantha, Johnathan and Alex Melgar. Deceased are a son, Ryan S. Phillips; a brother, Mark Shawn Phillips Sr. and a stepfather, Charles Hanlon Friends will be received Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
