Loretta Jean Main, 83, of Washington, died July 11, 2022, at her home. She was born November 17, 1938, in Washington, the daughter of the late Homer and Dorothy Davis Vanatta. Loretta graduated from Claysville High School and worked as a personnel manager for Troutman’s Department Store, in the Franklin Mall. She loved her dog “Allie,” and spending time with friends and family, especially her great-grandson, Blake. She spent her time watching football, going out to eat, and scrolling through Facebook. On April 13, 1959, Lorretta married Robert Main, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Bobby (Dee) Main, of Pataskala, OH; a daughter, Lisa Main, of Washington; brother, John (Sandy) Vanatta, of Washington; grandchildren, Dalton Main, and Brenna (Daniel) Pastorius; great-grandson, Blake Pastorius; two nephews; and a cousin, Beth McCammon. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. This was a charity that Loretta always supported. At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
