Lois Danley Breckons, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024, in McMurray Hills Manor in McMurray. She was born February 11, 1929, in Washington, daughter of the late Carl E. and Susan Mounts Danley. On May 7, 1949, she married Joseph Breckons, Sr., who died on March 28, 2019. Lois was a 1947 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School. She worked as an Office Supervisor in retail services for JC Penney. Lois loved golfing, working in her flower garden, playing piano and singing. She loved God and her family and siblings and took great joy in watching her grandchildren grow up. She particularly loved watching her grandson play baseball and getting breakfast every morning at Bob Evans. She was a member of Chartiers Crossroad United Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her children, Joseph (Robin) Breckons, Jr. of Claysville, and Lois Ann (the late Albert) Casper of Washington; grandson Joseph (Jennifer) Breckons, III; great-granddaughter Penelope; as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is a daughter, Linda Jo (the late John) Habarka, who passed on May 27, 2024. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday August 11, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, with the Reverend Kevin Young officiating. Interment will follow at Claysville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Chartiers Crossroads UP Church, 502 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington, PA 15301 and the Alzheimer’s Association, 2835 E.
