Linda Lee Jeffers Maze, 83, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Townview Health and Rehab Center, Canonsburg. She was born May 18, 1941, in Washington, a daughter of the late James Jeffers and Martha Minor Glendenning. She was raised by her grandparents, the late James and Mary Jeffers. Linda graduated from Washington High School in 1959. She was employed by Ball Glass Co., Ace Cleaner and Reconditioners and EZ Send Mailing Co. Most of her life’s work was loving and caring for her two daughters. She loved the Lord and was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed planting and taking care of flowers, reading, crafting, and sending cards to her family and friends. On May 18, 1960, she married John Maze, who passed away on August 1, 2017. Surviving are a daughter, Johnna (Ray) Reese and several cousins. Deceased, in addition to her parents, grandparents and husband, are a daughter, Allison Kathleen Maze, and a brother, James “Jink” Jeffers Jr. A special thank you to OSPTA Hospice (Lori, Laura, Kayla, and Treasa) and the nurses and aides on the 2nd floor of Townview Health and Rehab for the excellent care they provided.
