Linda Gray Boyd Loar, 72, of Washington, died on April 28, 2021, in the Washington Hospital. She was born on November 28, 1948, in Washington, a daughter of the late Samuel Elmer and Mabel Marie Hillberry Gray. Linda enjoyed family vacations, and going to dinner with family, and loved playing bingo. She enjoyed her road trips with Don, when he was driving trucks. Linda loved going dancing, with the Jitterbug being her favorite dance. The best part of dancing for Linda was when she got to throw her partner around the floor. She spent thirty-six years with the love of her life, Donald Allen Loar, whom she was with until his death on May 18, 2010. Surviving are four children, Loretta (Benny) Holland, of Washington, Tina Boyd, of Washington, Larry Boyd, Jr., of Washington, and Robert (Renae) Boyd, of Washington; three brothers, Elmer “Sonny” (the late Eda Mae) Gray, Jr., Paul Gray, and Clarence “Butch” Gray; a sister, Kathy (the late Rick) Garrett; grandchildren, David A. Boyd, Michael (Zoey) Boyd, Matthew Boyd, Bendy Holland, Clara Chasteen, Jodie Holland, and Jennifer Fisher; great-grandchildren, Sarah Holland, Anthony Holland, Jessie Holland, Emily Holland and Addie Young; great-great-grandchild, Jaece Holland; as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased are six siblings, Roger “Tick” Gray, Rick Gray, Erma Yater, Margaret Inghram, Donna Wosnik, and Frieda Toland. Friends will be received on Monday, May 3, 2021, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; and on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., the time of service, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
