Linda Sue Hatfield

Linda Sue Hatfield, 79, of Washington, died June 16, 2023, in the Washington Hospital. She was born February 1, 1944, in Washington, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ellen Helene Cole Minnear. She attended Trinity and McGuffey High Schools. She worked as inventory control for both K-Mart and Hills Department Store. Linda was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and working in the garden. She loved her cats, dogs and bird named Noel. Linda loved spending time with her friends and family. On June 16, 1960, Linda married Richard Allen Hatfield, who survives. Also surviving are sons, Michael Allen Hatfield, and Chad Raymond Hatfield; daughter, Wendy Sue Hatfield (Elmer) Liggett; sisters, Shirley Edgar, and Joyce (Oakey) Long; grandchildren, Katie, Ellen, Emma; great-grandchildren, Joanna, and one on the way, Ezekiel; and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her brother Gary Minnear. All services were private.
