Linda Mae Davis, 67, of Claysville, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in the Washington Hospital. She was born January 8, 1954, in Washington, and was raised by Gaylord and Martha Miller. Mrs. Davis graduated from McGuffey High School and worked as a meat processor for Green Valley Packing. She enjoyed picture puzzles, word games and searches, square dancing, and going to band gigs. She also loved entertaining and spending time with friends and family. Mrs. Davis was a member of Claysville Christian Church. On February 10, 1973, she married James Edward Davis, who died May 24, 2019. Surviving are two sons, Jimmie Davis (Michele) of Washington and Eddie Davis (April Atchison) of Ellsworth; two brothers, Robert Roberts (Jana) of Claysville and Ray Miller (Lynne) of Prosperity; four sisters, Ruth Davis of Claysville, Bonnie Fuller (Bob), Dora Morris, and Wanda Lycett, all of Washington; three grandchildren, Kaylynn Davis, Jimmie Davis Jr. (Rebecca), and Zachary Roderick; three great-grandchildren, Zoey, Brantley and Kane Nelson; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Don Miller and Richard Bell, and two sisters, Lois Jean Davis and Nancy Gray. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 10th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 11th, with Pastor Michael Fairchild officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
