Linda "Chick" Yanavich Hay

Linda “Chick” Yanavich Hay, the most kind, gentle and selfless mother and wife, went home December 5, 2022, to be with the Lord. She was born on June 15, 1948, a daughter of Leslie and Loretta Yanavich. Linda was a member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Polish Church. Her husband, Russell Hay survives. Blessed with twin daughters, Dawn and Donna Hay, she was also an amazing doggie grandmother to many spoiled dogs. Also surviving are brothers-in-law Barrell (Joyce) and Malcolm (Helen) Hay; a sister-in-law, Mary Adams; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and two beloved aunts. Deceased is a brother, Leslie Yanavich. We would like to thank Diane, Vicki and Joyce at Ambulatory Care for taking such good care of mom every week. Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2022. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, 390 Old Hickory Ridge Rd, Meadowlands, PA 15347, www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org.
