Lillian Catherine Dames

Lillian Catherine Dames, 91, of Bentleyville, died Saturday, December 21, 2019, in Donnell House. She was born September 2, 1928, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Frank Fera and Josephine Meleca Fera. Mrs. Dames graduated from John Bartram High School in Philadelphia and was a homemaker. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed bingo and playing cards at the casino, and loved cats. Mrs. Dames was Roman Catholic. On May 14, 1947, she married Thomas Andrew Dames, Sr., who survives. Also surviving are a son, Thomas Andrew (Sandra) Dames, Jr., of Washington; a daughter, Cathy Jo (Euhlan Lee Jr.) Goans of Monongahela; grandchildren, Tad (Cathy), Tommy (Holly), and Troy (Elizabeth) Dames,  Keith (Gina), Joey, and Scott Stafford; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Joseph Fera. A Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 26th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Private inurnment will be held at a later date in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
