Leslie Cheryl Patterson Mims, 56, of Washington, died on May 7, 2022, in her home. She was born on October 18, 1965, in Washington, a daughter of Percy Davis and Patricia Hallaway. A graduate of Washington High School, Leslie went on to earn a degree from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church. Mrs. Mims had worked for more than twenty years as a manager for Waste Management. Leslie enjoyed going to concerts, vacationing and reading, but most of all, what gave Leslie the most joy was spending time with friends and family. On May 10, 1997, she married Bradford A. Mims, who died on March 8, 2019. Surviving are a son, Eric (Kristin) Johnson, of Washington; a daughter, Briyana J. Mims, of Washington; a brother, Kevin Patterson, of Washington; a grandson, Christopher Patterson; a God-daughter, Donyell Smith; a cousin, Chase Patterson; her best friend, Eric Richard Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., in Nazareth Baptist Church, 123 N. Lincoln St., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 16, 2022, with Rev. Eric W. Tarpley officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to William G.
