Lewis Moore, 82, of Washington, died Thursday, September 20, 2018, in the Washington Hospital, He was born November 30, 1935, in Washington, a son of the late Carl C. and Elizabeth Cassidy Moore. For 30 years, Mr. Moore worked as a cement truck driver for Judson Wiley and Sons. He was a member of Moose Lodge 22 and bowled on the Alpine League. On July 6, 1956, he married Jacqueline Holmes, who survives. Also surviving are a son, James W. Moore of Washington; two grandchildren, Ashley and Brittany Moore; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jim (Belinda) Holmes; sister-in-law, Carolyn “Scottie” Moore; three nieces, Susan Johnson, Lori Moore and Vicki King; and a nephew, Troy Moore. Deceased are a son, Carl C. Moore; a grandson, Andrew S. Moore; a brother, Mort Moore; and a niece, Linda Stevens. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m., the time of service, Tuesday, September 25th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Donna Christopher officiating. Moose services will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery will be held at a later date.
