Kristen Leigh Earnest-Deems

Kristen Leigh Earnest-Deems, 55, of Marianna, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was born December 21, 1968, in Washington, a daughter of Richard Earnest and the late Patricia Sowers Earnest. Kristen was a graduate of Bethlehem Center High School, Waynesburg College and West Virginia University, receiving both a bachelor's degree and master’s degree. She was employed in the behavioral health field as a behavioral analyst. Kristen was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church in Amity. Her children, Paige and Josh, were her pride and joy, and she was a proud U.S. Marine Corps mom. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and watching her nieces and nephews over the years. She loved her cats, and spending time with her love, Rich Martini. Surviving, in addition to her father, are a son, Joshua Deems; a daughter, Paige Deems; two sisters, Lynne (Frank) Cecchine and Stacey (Jim) Coon; “Aunt Kiki” to Dante, Angelina, Gracey and Tyler. Deceased, in addition to her mother, is a nephew, Gino Cecchine. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in North Ten Mile Baptist Church, 322 Ridge Church Road, Amity, with Pastor Wesley Kavanagh officiating. Interment will follow in North Ten Mile Cemetery, Amity.
