Krisanne Millan-Burgess, 60, of Washington, died unexpectedly May 2, 2023, in the Washington Hospital Emergency Department. She was born April 23, 1963, in Charleroi, the daughter of the late Frank Millan and Patricia Rae Pichard Mancuso. A graduate of Washington High School, she also earned an associate degree from California University of PA, for Business Administration, and Penn Commercial for Cosmetology. She was an administrator for Pathways of Washington. Krisanne was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church. In 2010 she founded the Princess Initiative, a prom dress ministry, that helps high school girls attend their prom in style, with dignity and class. She enjoyed calligraphy and scrapbooking and loved music and the Arts. On February 23, 1980, Krisanne married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Christopher Ross Burgess, who survives. They enjoyed over 43 years of marriage together. Also surviving are three sons, Patrick (Amanda) Burgess, Benjamin Burgess, and Shad Burgess; a daughter, Brittany Burgess; grandchildren, Heath Burgess, Mia Burgess, Elizabeth Burgess, Willow Burgess, Oliver Burgess, Norah Jane Burgess, Benjamin Burgess II, Isabella Burgess, London Butler, and Princeton Butler; brother, Dale (Sue) Mancuso; sister Marci (Bill) McAdoo; and many nieces and nephews. Her relationship with Jesus Christ was dedicated and life-long. She had a servant’s heart and was loved by her many friends. She was a Proverbs 31 woman. Family and friends will gather Sunday, May 7, 2023, 12-2 pm and 4-6 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, the place of service, May 8th at 10am with Pastor Vicki Barton officiating. Interment to follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery.
