Kimberly “Kim” Przystup Penvose, 66, of Washington, passed away, Saturday, April 20, 2024, with her family by her side, after a courageous five-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born December 9, 1957, in Washington, a daughter of John E. and Delores Przystup. Mrs. Penvose lived her entire life in Washington and graduated from Chartiers Houston High School in 1975. At the age of 35, leaving her job as a kitchen designer, she returned to college studies full time, and graduated at the age of forty with several degrees in medical coding. She was employed by Washington Hospital, and most recently, worked from her home office for United Audit Systems, Inc. Mrs. Penvose enjoyed camping, shopping online and get-togethers with friends. She was a member of the Arms Club, Keystone Club and American Legion Post 902 of Houston. On October 17, 1981, she married Gene R. Penvose, with whom she shared forty-two and a half inseparable and loving years. Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, are her son, Jason (Billie); her daughter, Melissa (Justin) Weaver; grandchildren Tyler, Rayne and Xander. Also surviving are her mother, Dolores Przystup (Bill Wilson); her loving father-in-law, Clarence “Curly” Penvose; several brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Penvose is deeply missed by her beloved four-legged Shih Tzu “son,” Jasper. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, John. Arrangements are provided by William G.
