Kevin Paul Vorhes

  Kevin Paul Vorhes, 56 of Triadelphia, WV formerly of Long Island NY, passed away on October 6, 2017 in Wheeling Hospital. He was born February 28, 1961 in Wheeling, WV son of the late Herschel Vorhes and Irma Jean Milliken Vorhes. Kevin graduated from Newfield High School in New York. He worked for West Penn Wire as a re-spooler for the last year, and he also worked for Claysville Petro Truck Stop for 15 years. Kevin was an avid sports fan - some of his favorite teams were the Minnesota Vikings, LA Lakers, New York Giants, and the Philadelphia Flyers. He was a long time Marijuana enthusiast, also a little league baseball coach. On October 16, 2010 he married Brenda Gray who survives, and with whom he has spent over Twenty years. Also surviving are seven sons, Michael Kirk (Lee Ann Milazzo) of Holtsville, NY, John Herring of Washington, Joseph (Christal) Herring of Eighty-Four, Robert Herring of Washington, Shawn Herring of Claysville, Brett (Chastity) Herring of Washington, Joshua Herring of Claysville; two daughters, Cortney L. Vorhes and Kelly Moran both of Seldan NY; two brothers, Frank Vorhes of Aleppo and Dennis Vorhes of Slovan; two sisters, Denise (Charles) Mawhinney, of Washington,  and Tina (Don) Beck of West Finley; many grandchildren including, Kayleigh Herring, Michael Kirk, Dominick Herring, Harley & Hailey Herring, Johnathan Butler, Raylen Herring and Declan Herring; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday October 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday October 14, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the William G.
