Kenneth Lewis Lindley, Sr., 80, of Washington, died on June 30, 2023, in Washington Hospital. He was born on January 16, 1943, in Washington, a son of the late Kenneth Lee and Teresa Munchie Lindley. Kenneth was a graduate of Trinity High School. A hardworking man, Mr. Lindley worked for thirty years as a steelworker for Jessop Steel. He loved the outdoors, especially golfing, fishing, hunting, camping and mowing the lawn at his cabin. He also enjoyed bowling. Surviving are a son, Kenneth (Gina) Lindley, Jr.; a daughter, Lisa (Dave) Myers; a brother, Don (Janet) Lindley; two sisters, Garnet (Chester) Charnesky and Sandy (Mark) Carr; six grandchildren, Dawn (Tim) Anderson, Kala Lindley Davidson, Kili (Laramie) Lindley, KC (Hannah) Lindley, Megan Lindley, and Devon Myers; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Lindley, Drew Anderson, Jaxon Davidson, and Emmett Lippencott; an aunt, Shirley DeAngelis; as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a daughter, Teresa Lindley Popham; and a sister, Patty Rugg. Friends and family are welcome on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
