Karen Lou Stahl

Karen Lou Stahl, 70, of Washington, died December 15, 2021, in Washington Hospital. She was born on November 26, 1951, in Washington, the daughter of the late Luther F. "Bud" Bergner, Jr. and Edith P. Fisher Bergner. Karen was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School. She was a hairdresser and worked for some time at BiLo Grocery store, making donuts, working the lunch counter, and doing deli demos. Karen loved watching Hallmark Movies, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. On May 19, 1973, Karen married David Stahl, who survives, they enjoyed 48 years of marriage. Also surviving is a son, David Stahl, Jr., of Washington; daughter, Michelle Stahl, of McDonald; grandchildren, Hunter Corey, and Gavin Hall; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at Forest Lawn Gardens on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Friends and family wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
