Kandi Mari King, 40, of Washington, died January 21, 2024, in her home. She was born August 20, 1983, in Mesquite, Texas, a daughter of Richard Jay King and Leeanna Kathleen King of Washington. Kandi was a 2001 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 2005 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in marketing. She attended Liberty Chapel. Kandi loved traveling, especially to Ocean City, NJ and Disney World. She enjoyed going to country concerts, school field trips, camping, decorating her house for holidays, and everything Disney Princesses and Grateful Dead. But, more than anything, she loved her children and family; they meant the world to her. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two daughters, Allie Mari King and Summer Robin King; three sisters, Kristi (Matthew) Martineau, Kati (Andrew) Mack, and Kelli King; nieces and nephews, Anthony Mack, Natalie Martineau, Nikolas Mack, Justin Martineau, and Julia Mack; and her maternal grandmother, Shirley Burgess. Deceased are her paternal grandparents, George and Frances King, and maternal grandfather, Richard Fulton. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 25th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
