June Elizabeth Interval

June Elizabeth Interval, 90, of Washington, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, in her home. She was born June 1, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of the late Gus and Sebe Ellis Abrams. Mrs. Interval graduated from Washington High School in 1950. A homemaker, she was a member of Christian Church of North America, and was currently attending Living Waters Church of God. Sunday dinners were always a given for anyone who showed up. Most times there were 25 family members and friends who enjoyed her famous spaghetti and meatballs! She loved big! And most of all, she loved her four kids and grandkids, who all thought they were her favorite. Lovingly called “DeeDee” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she had the most tender touch, with everyone fighting to sit next to her to be the recipient of her warm tender touch. Her nickname “June Bug” fit her well. She will be greatly missed by all of her family. On June 16, 1951, she married Robert Interval, who died January 11, 2008. Surviving are four children, Toni Brezinski of Washington, Dr. Robert John Interval of Phoenix, Arizona, Nena Interval of Washington, and Joseph Michael Interval (Christine ) of Washington; a sister, Margaret “Midge” Reese (Pat) of Madeira, California; eight grandchildren, Dr. Chad Brezinski (Missy), Dr. Kellie Brezinski, Georgiann Martin, Brea Lynn Interval Robinson (Lenny), Gia Marie Interval Fitzpatrick (Jim), Matthew Abbondanza (Ashley), Robert John Interval II, and Amanda Interval; and 13 great-grandchildren, Julian, Jordan, Lily, Chloe, Luke, Zoey, Elijah, Mila, Alexa, Domenic, Makson, Kai, and Benjamin. Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a grandson, Joseph Michael Interval II, and siblings, Marion Grady and Robert Abrams. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 30th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 31st, with Pastor Michael Singo officiating.
