June A. Huseman, 95, of Washington, died peacefully in her home on February 22, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born on October 23, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of the late Helen June Ward Lang. June attended Hart Avenue Church of the Nazarene. Earlier in her life, June enjoyed to play bingo. Later, she enjoyed relaxing on her porch doing her crocheting, and watching her friends, neighbors, and the world go by. She was an excellent cook. One of her specialties was her meatloaf, which was her son’s favorite. Her greatest joy was going on outings with her son, Lonie, who was her best friend, and spending time with family, especially her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored. Surviving are a son, Lonie (Melissa Morrison) Ward; three grandchildren, Lonie (Shelly) Ward, Jr., Jennifer Ward, and Trent Ward; twelve great grandchildren, Alexander, Spenser, Nathan, Sarah, Sierra, Lonie III, Kiley, Reeonna, Ayden, Brady, Emilee, and Cashden; a great-great granddaughter, Ella-Jo; as well as many special nieces and nephews. Friends and family are welcome on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
