June Harris-McGill, 96, of Washington, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in the home of her niece, Jackie, with whom she had been living. She was born May 24, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of the late Reverend John Edward Harris and Emma Ketchum Harris. On October 27, 2001, she married Keith McGill, who died on September 8, 2023. June graduated from Washington High School and took courses at the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as a realtor broker, opening her company, June Harris Real Estate, in 1984. June loved crocheting, attending Wild Things games, and was an avid Steelers fan. Surviving are a niece, Jackie A. Garcia; a nephew, Sean (Marissa) Bristor; great-nieces Kristen (Jason) Mellinger, Rachel (Lina) Dean, Alisha (Charles) McGowan and Cecelia Bristor; great-nephew Levi Bristor; great-great-nieces and nephews Stella McGowan, Kannon McGowan, Jon Barron, Fiona Mellinger and Ezekiel Mellinger; and great-great-great-nephew David Barron. Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is a sister, Marjorie Bristor. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
