Judith Lynne Yater

Judith “Judy” Lynne Yater, 68 of Washington, died Friday, November 24, 2017 at home. She was born, April 15, 1949 in Washington, the daughter of the late John L. Baer and Gladys M. Haught Baer. Judy was a graduate of Trinity High School and the worked in the Washington County’s Prothonotary office for more than 30 years, and retired as the Washington County’s Deputy Prothonotary. She was a member of First Christian Church and enjoyed doing various crafts. Judy’s grandchildren were her world and she attended every sporting and school event. Her grandchildren lovingly referred to her as “Grandma Judy”. Surviving are a son, Paul E. (Lynne) Yater III of McDonald; a brother, John (Debbie) Baer of Washington; four grandchildren, Peyton, Logan, Lainey and Preston. Deceased is a brother, Robert Haught. Friends will be received Monday, November 27,2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd. 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joel VanBriggle officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery.
