Judith Ann Mogan Baker, 81, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in Premier Washington Health Center, Chartiers Township. She was born July 3, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late William Mogan and Margaret Nelson Mogan. Judith was a graduate of East Detroit High School in Michigan. She was employed as a church custodian for 32 years at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Judith was an active member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was the manager of the church’s center for genealogy for 20 years. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and church family. On June 19, 1965, she married Charles David Baker, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cindy Lou (Philip) Mounts; a son, Kelley David Baker; a brother, Frank James (Dianne) Mogan; a sister, Lois (Bill Carpenter) Trott; three grandchildren, William H. Hughes III, Courtney Baker, and Chloe Baker; a great-granddaughter, Jayde Hughes; many nieces and nephews; and her church family. Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a sister, Peggy Carpenter. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with Bishop Adock officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
