Joyce Ann Rice

Joyce Ann Rice, 80, of Washington, died September 26, 2021, in North Strabane Rehabilitation & Wellness Center. She was born June 8, 1941, in Washington, the daughter of the late Howard and Rose Anderson Johns. Joyce was a graduate of Trinity High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles, playing cards, and watching tv. Joyce is survived by a son, Howard Rice, of Washington; daughters, Brenda Rice, of Washington, and Cindy Hannen, of Prosperity; grandson, Josh Wayman; and nephews Brad and Rob Walbeck. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Walbeck. At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
