Joseph Michael Unrue

Joseph Michael Unrue, 47, of Monroe, NC, formerly of Washington, died on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. He was born October 30, 1970, a son of Gerald and Joyce Hay, of Washington. Joseph was a graduate of Washington High School.  He served in the United States Army. Joseph was a Chef, and taught cooking all over the country. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving, are a son, Joseph Unrue, Jr.; two daughters, Kristen Unrue and Jordan Vicari; a brother, Gerald (Betsy) Hay; a sister, Marcie Unrue; a grandson, Noah Holden; two nieces, Ashley and Savannah; and a nephew, Jerry. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Michael Unrue. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., the time of service, in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 301 Grant Street Suite 900 Pittsburgh, PA 15219
