Jonathan L. Simms

Jonathan L. Simms, 61, of Washington, died on February 5, 2023, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born on June 12, 1961, a son of Jo Ann (Claffey) Simms and the late William A. Simms. Jonathan was a 1979 graduate of Trinity High School. He was the owner/operator of Jonathan L. Hair Salon. Jonathan enjoyed collecting Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley memorabilia, and he loved spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are a brother, Gregory (Martha) Simms; two sisters, Lou Ann (Todd) LeVan and Billie Jo (Matthew) Mance; a nephew, Matthew; four nieces, Cassie, Abby, Ali and Mallory; five great nephews; and four great nieces. At the request of the deceased, all services were private. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
