John Charles Schirosky Sr.

John Charles Shiroksy Sr., 89 of Washington, died Sunday, May 10, 2020 at home. He was born September 14, 1930 in Washington, the son of the late Joseph Schirosky and Anna Macura Schirosky. John attended Trinity High School and work for Con Rail for 44 years. He enjoyed bowling, golf and loved to fix anything that was broken. He was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan. On April 14, 1950 he married Florence Jean Bradley, who died March 14, 2013. Surviving are a son, John Charles Schirosky Jr of Washington; a daughter, Linda Sue (Jack) Amon of Washington; two grandchildren, Kimberly (Jerrick Caldwell) Ellis and Christie (Eric) Kelley; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Deceased are two brothers, Walter and Frank Schirosky; two sisters, Bertha Lee and Ann Gorsuch; daughter in law, Julianna Schirosky; granddaughter, Jodi Ellis. Due to crowd restriction guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, no public visitation or services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
