John J. Robinson, 87, of Washington, died Friday, June 29, 2018, in the Washington Hospital. He was born March 6, 1931, a son of the late Frank P. and Winifred Whipkey Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a graduate of Richhill Township High School in Greene County. He worked as a machinist at Jessop Steel, retiring in 1996. Mr. Robinson was a 65-year member of Sunset Lodge 623 F&AM, as well as a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh, and the Syria Shriners of Pittsburgh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and firearms. Surviving are his beloved wife of 65 years, Jennie Mucho Robinson; a daughter, Jennifer L. Robinson of Washington; a son, John P. (Kate) Robinson of Washington; a brother, Frank D. (Janet) Robinson of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Lincoln (Lisa) Robinson of Carmichaels. At the request of the deceased, services and burial are private. Masonic services will be provided by the Sunset Lodge #623, Free and Accepted Masons. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA. .
