John David Junkins Jr.

John David Junkins Jr., 27, of West Alexander, died Sunday, June 7, 2020 at the Washington Hospital. He was born February 23, 1993, in Washington, the son of John Junkins Sr. of West Alexander and Ann Orum Grguric of Washington. John attended McGuffey High School and worked at Washington Rotating for 4 years. He was a member of Champion Christian Center. John enjoyed hunting, riding ATV’s, cooking, cleaning the house and loved his Miller Lite. He had a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh. He loved his daughter, who was his best friend. On March 1, 2017, he married Jocelyn Cox, who survives. Surviving in addition to his parents are a daughter, Mila Junkins of Washington; a brother, Cole Junkins of West Alexander; grandparents, Harold & Lorna Orum of Claysville and Dave and Karen Griffith of West Alexander. Deceased are a sister, Courtney Ann Junkins. In the continued interest of public safety, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
