John L. “Jack” Engle, 68, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Washington, died on July 28, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 30, 1952, a son of the late William Engle, Eleanor Clemens, and stepfather Ivan Clemens, who raised him. Jack was a graduate of Trinity High School. He proudly served with the United States Air Force for fourteen years, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Engle worked for twenty years with Boeing Aerospace in San Antonio, where he had planned to retire next year. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, and golfing, but most of all, Jack loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of twenty years, Connie Weaver Engle, of San Antonio, Texas; four daughters, Tracy Engle, of Ocala, FL, Michelle Engle, of Ocala, FL, Wendy, and Jennifer; three brothers, William (Brenda) Engle, Jr., of Port Richey, FL, Rick (Marcy) Clemens, of Washington, and David Clemens, of Washington; a sister, Beverly (Tom) Shoup, of Amity; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother Jeff Clemens. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Laboratory Presbyterian Church, 23 Manse St., Washington, PA, at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
