John William Corbly, 68, of Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in his home. He was born November 25, 1955, in Washington, a son of the late Arthur William Corbly and Mildred Crowe Corbly, who survives. John was employed by Washington Penn Plastics as a plastics engineer, from where he retired after more than 50 years. His children and grandchildren were his life, including his grand-dogs, Frodo and Murphy. He loved fantasy sports, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, JoAnn McCoy Corbly; two sons, Tim (Megan) Corbly and John (Debbie) Corbly II:, four grandchildren, Levi Corbly, Connor Corbly, Madalynne Corbly and McKenzie Corbly; and two brothers, Greg (Lorraine) Corbly and Steve (Karen) Corbly. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be private.
