John E. Bologa, 81, died on February 18, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born April 5, 1940, to the late Mary Krajacic and John Bologa, Sr. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1958. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army for four years, stationed in Germany. In Germany, he married Rosemarie Baumert, from Germany. He attended University of Pittsburgh and worked in the banking industry for many years. He ran Ponderosa Park in Salem Ohio. He worked for the movie industry in California, and lived in Henderson, Nevada. He married Rose Riggle on October 10, 1982. Even though they divorced, they remained good friends. He is survived by sisters Mary Jane Call from Traverse City, Michigan, and Linda M. Wilson, from Canonsburg. He is also survived by his companion, Rose Riggle, from Claysville, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; many cousins and friends. Preceding him in death were his ex-wife, Rosemarie Baumert; stepmother, Marie Bologa; and two children who died at birth. Before his death, John was living in Claysville. John met many celebrities in his life. He enjoyed reading, music, boating, traveling, watching football, especially the Steelers, going to the movies, and his Corvette. Family and friends will be received Sunday, March 13, 2022, 2-4 pm, the time of service with military honors, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
