Jennifer Cherise Mlatnik, 49, of Washington, died on December 11, 2022, in Premier Washington Health Center. She was born in Painesville, OH, on March 13, 1973, a daughter of Judith C. Armstrong, of Claysville, and the late John A. Mlatnik. A graduate of Avella High School, she was Christian by faith. A person with a generous, compassionate heart, Jennifer was naturally drawn to the healthcare field, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and could help people physically and emotionally. Ms. Mlatnik absolutely adored her family, and was extremely proud of her beloved nieces and nephews. She enjoyed cooking, but especially loved any time spent with friends and family. Surviving are a brother, Timothy (Lisa) Mlatnik; two sisters, Amy (Christopher) Hancher and Marcie (Robert) Campbell; her stepfather, Larry Waterman; her lifelong friend, Brenda Kreig; many nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and her beloved dog, Abby. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 18, 2022, in Avella Presbyterian Church, 25 Campbell St. Avella, with Pastor Rich Narus officiating. Another Memorial Service will be held in Ohio, on a date to be determined. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
