Jared Jesse Johnson, 41, of Washington, went home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in his home. He was born July 19, 1982, in Washington County, a son of Rickey Johnson and Darlene McKinney Johnson of Washington. Jared loved German Shepherds and spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, singing and was a worship leader for a local church, in his family’s music ministry. He loved telling people he met about finding Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He was a 2001 graduate of Trinity High School and a graduate of Life Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Theology. Jared was a member of Victory Family Church in Cranberry for 19 years. Surviving are a sister, Rachel Starr Hanlon and husband Mike Hanlon; a niece, Tiana Hanlon; and a nephew, Mikai Hanlon. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, with Pastor John Nuzzo officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.
