Jason D. Megyesy, 49, of Houston, died Friday, November 22, 2024, in his home. He was born March 26, 1975, in Washington, a son of Charles “Chuck” Megyesy (Karen Fuller Megyesy) and the late Glenda “Sally” Parkinson Megyesy. A graduate of Trinity High School, Mr. Megyesy worked for the past 15 years at Washington Penn Plastics. Prior to that, he worked at Baker’s Waterproofing and Interform Solutions until its closure. Mr. Megyesy loved the Steelers and watching football and drag racing. He enjoyed concerts, music, especially Guns N Roses, watching movies, and playing Madden Football. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. On October 2, 2002, he met Lisa M. Yuhas, who became his wife on June 28, 2011. Surviving in addition to his wife, father and step-mother, are two sons, Dylan Megyesy and Tyler Megyesy; two brothers, Chuck Megyesy and James Megyesy; a step-brother, Joseph John “Joey” Joscsak; a step-sister, Samantha Joscsak; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; his in-laws, Joseph and Billie Yuhas; a sister-in-law, Karey Yuhas; and a brother-in-law, Joe Yuhas. Deceased are a sister, Michelle Megyesy, who died in infancy; maternal grandmother, Dorothy “Pearl” Parkinson; his paternal grandparents; and his pets, Roscoe and Cato. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 29th, and from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 12 p.m., Saturday, November 30th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his wife and children.
