Janet M. Pinkerton, 80, of Washington, died on October 3, 2023, in Premier Washington Health System. She was born on February 5, 1943, in Washington, a daughter of the late Arthur and Emma Favorite Stickle. A graduate of Trinity High School, she was a member of Friendship Community Church. Janet enjoyed doing crafts, but most of all, she loved taking care of, and spending time with family. On February 27, 1964, she married the love of her life, Carl H. Pinkerton, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Pamela Gail (Michael) Fernandes, Brian Carl (Susan) Pinkerton, and Douglas Shawn Pinkerton; a brother, Richard Favorite (Helen) Stickle; two sisters, Linda Elaine (Steve) Setto and Ada Kathleen (Richard) Setto; grandchildren, Brandon Pinkerton, Christopher Pinkerton, Holly (Mike) Garove, Justine (Corvynne) Mikell, Blaine Pinkerton, Hannah Pinkerton, Haelinn Pinkerton, Angus (Juliana) Pinkerton, Angela Pinkerton, and Amber, Stephen and Robert Jackson; great grandchildren, Kylee, Milo, Easton, Michael and Bryndle; a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Pinkerton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Ronald Leroy Pinkerton, two sisters, Sue Ann Pomykala and Nancy Garner; two brothers, Thomas Stickle and Harry Stickle; and a brother-in-law, Alfred Leroy Pinkerton. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Zeb Thomas and Pastor Rick Bruckner co-officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
