Janet M Eisert

Janet Eisert, 100, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the home of her daughter. She was born in Waynesburg on June 22, 1921, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Randolph) Morris. Janet graduated from Trinity High School in 1939 and went to work briefly at the Duncan & Miller Glass factory, where she met her future husband, William Eisert. They were married in June of 1941 at Immaculate Conception Church, Washington. She is survived by her children, Dave (Shirley) Eisert, of Strasburg, VA; her daughter, Mary Hann, of Washington, Tina Crino, of Washington, with whom she made her home, and daughter in law Marian (the late Ron) Eisert. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Lynda (Edi) Roca, of W. Orange, NJ, Matt (Shelley) Eisert, of Palm Coast, FL, Robin (Rich) Risbon, of Newark, OH, Eric Eisert, of Washington, April (Chris) Kerr, of South Park, Ryan (Alison) Eisert, of Grandview Heights, OH, Adrienne (Fred) Kawatsky, of Strasburg, VA, Kace (Liz) Crino, of Washington, Kyler Hann, of Washington, and Kelcie (Stratos) Crino, of Queens, NY; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Blake Eisert, of Palm Coast, FL, Adem and Tyler Roca, of W. Orange, NJ, Trent and Cole Lyndsey, of OH, Addison Kerr, of South Park, Fred, Abbie, and Wyatt Kawatsky, Strasburg, VA, Chloe Lovell and Kahlilla Crino; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her parents and husband, are two children, Ron Eisert and Tom Eisert; brothers, William Morris, and George “Bud” Morris; sisters, Ruth George, and Joan Bongiovanni; and granddaughter, Angela Eisert. Jen Messmer, of Washington, was a caring friend for many years. Janet was a wonderful mother, and her strong spirit, sparkling blue eyes, and smile will be forever missed.
