James “Jim” Paquet, Jr., 61, of Washington, died on Thursday, December 17, 2020, in the Washington Hospital. He was born on October 6, 1959, in McDonald, a son of the late James Paquet, Sr. and Doris Conn Paquet. Jim was a graduate of Trinity High School. Mr. Paquet worked as a bowling mechanic at the Alpine Club, and also worked at the Polish Club and Premier Auto. He was an avid bowler and dart ball player. On June 6, 1987, he married Teresa Davis, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Virginia “Dolly” (James) Johns, of Claysville; an adopted daughter, Sherri Stiffler, and her daughter, Kyra Knox; a brother, Raymond (Gladys) Paquet, of Washington; two sisters, Brenda Terry, of Washington, and Ruth (David) Bolen, of Washington; and three grandchildren, Jimmy, Brittany and Michelle Johns; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Richard Allen Paquet; and two sisters, Sylvia Logston and Maryanne McWilliams. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services will be private.
