James Edward Murin

James Edward Murin, 85, of Washington, died on January 14, 2023, in his home. He was born on December 23, 1937, in Bertha Mine, PA, a son of the late John and Elizabeth Dudeck Murin. A graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, James was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. James worked for thirty years as a steel worker for Jessop Steel. He enjoyed going to the Meadows, but his greatest joy was the times he spent with his grandchildren, especially watching their sports and traveling with them. On June 25, 1960, he married the love of his life, Rose Marie Montecalvo, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Tracy (William) Graziani; five grandchildren, Chanel (Adam) Dembiski, Josh (Jamie) Konecheck, Joseph (Alli) Graziani, William (Hannah) Graziani, and Michael Graziani; four great grandchildren, Lacey Dembiski, Trent Dembiski, Bristol Konecheck, and Callie Konecheck; as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a daughter, Toni Konecheck. At the request of the deceased, all services were private.
