James Joseph Moffatt

James Joseph Moffatt, 68, of Houston, passed away February 10, 2024, in South Hills Rehab and Wellness in Canonsburg. He was born June 20, 1955, in Astoria, Queens, New York, a son of the late John Thomas and Alma Ann Zampino Moffatt. Mr. Moffatt was employed by Thriftway Pharmacy as a store manager. He was a member of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. Mr. Moffatt loved to watch horse racing, was an avid sports fan, especially football and baseball, and enjoyed trips to Lancaster. He adored his grandchildren. On February 18, 1978, he married his wife, Mary Ellen Strahl Moffatt of Houston. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons Richard Moffatt, James (Kelly) Moffatt and Christopher (Yeni) Moffatt; brother John (Denise) Moffatt; sister Alma (Soc) Moffatt; and grandchildren James, Isabella, Danny, Katie and Nathan. Deceased is a brother, Richard Moffatt. At the request of the deceased, all visitation and services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G.
