James "Jim" L. Stienstraw, Jr.

James L. “Jim” Stienstraw, Jr., 60, of Canonsburg, died on October 23, 2023. He was born on March 12, 1963, in Washington, a son of the late James L. Stienstraw, Sr. and Dolores Fedor Stienstraw. A graduate of Washington High School, he went on to earn a bachelor degree from Clarion University. He was catholic by faith. A jack of all trades, Jim could do or fix almost anything. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and camping. Most of all, he loved his family. Jim adored his children and grandchildren. He loved spending time with and being grandpap to his beloved granddaughter, Nova. On September 10, 1988, he married Kathy J. Velicoff, who died on October 28, 2011. Surviving are two children, Kasey L. (Nicholas “Nico” C.) Yeager, of Canonsburg and James L. Stienstraw III, of Canonsburg; three siblings, Linda (the late Dave) Konitzer, Michael Stienstraw, and Deborah Riley; his granddaughter, Nova Jo Yeager; as well as many friends and extended family. All services were private. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
